Recharge
Two different things can be purchased here, and they are not interchangeable:
- API Wallet recharge — prepaid balance for API key calls.
- Playground top-up — extra Playground credit for the current subscription period only.

API Wallet recharge
Add prepaid balance to your account with a card checkout. Your balance pays for model calls beyond the free trial.
Recharge amounts
Recharge is available in fixed amounts:

Custom amounts are not supported — pick one of the fixed tiers.
How to recharge
- Open the Recharge page in the console.
- Choose an amount and continue to the secure checkout.
- Complete payment on the hosted checkout page.
- Your balance updates automatically once payment is confirmed — usually within a few seconds. Refresh the wallet page if you don't see it right away.
Payment is handled by our payment provider on a hosted checkout page; card details never touch Mafdet AI servers.
Order status
- Pending — an order was created but payment is not yet confirmed. Closing the checkout without paying leaves the order pending; it never credits your balance.
- Paid — payment confirmed; the amount is credited to your balance and
recorded as a
RECHARGEwallet transaction.
Failed, duplicate, and abandoned payments
- A failed or cancelled payment does not credit your balance.
- Duplicate payment notifications are de-duplicated — a single payment credits your balance exactly once, never twice.
- Starting checkout several times only creates several pending orders; only the one you actually pay is credited.
Refunds and disputes
Refunds and card disputes are reviewed before your balance is adjusted. When a refund or chargeback is confirmed, the corresponding amount is deducted from your available balance. Contact an administrator if you have a question about a specific charge.
Playground top-up pack
If you run out of Playground credit before the period ends, a $10 top-up adds $9.50 of Playground credit to the current period only. It does not carry over, does not go into the API Wallet, and does not change your plan. Buy it from the subscription / Playground usage page in the console.
